Mr. Betsch is currently the Chairman of IFSA Global LLC (IFSA), a specialist financial service provider to businesses in North America, UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific. He has over thirty years experience as a corporate executive, having served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for various public and private multinational corporations. He has lived and worked for more than twelve years in various countries in the Asia-Pacific region while employed in the pharmaceutical industry, and ten years in Europe while serving as Member of the Board of Management and Chief Financial Officer of a major Dutch Trading Company listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
Prior to IFSA Mr. Betsch was VP & Chief Financial Officer at J.M. Huber Corporation, one of the top 200 privately held diversified industrial companies in the USA. For ten years immediately preceding J.M. Huber Corporation, Mr. Betsch was a Member of the Board of Management and Chief Financial Officer of Hagemeyer NV, a wholesale consumer and industrial products multinational. In addition to his service as a member of the Board of Directors of many companies, Mr. Betsch has held positions as CFO at First Pacific Company in Hong Kong, and at Estee Lauder International in NY; and as VP-Treasurer of Sterling Products International in NY; and as an Audit Manager at PWC – New York Office.
Mr. Betsch is a member of the Tax Section and the Personal Financial Planning Section of the AICPA. He is also active in a number of other professional associations including the KPMG Audit Committee Institute, and a former member of the Institute of Directors in the UK and the Financial Executives Institute in the USA. Mr. Betsch is a Certified Public Accountant and member of both New York State Society of CPA's(RTE) and New Jersey State Society of CPAs. He is a “qualified financial expert” as defined by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Mr. Betsch is a U.S. Citizen.
